Refund policy

Warranty

Hauraki Fenders endeavours to produce and supply goods that exceed its customers’ expectations.  Due to the nature and use of fenders and fender covers, we are happy to provide the following warranties:

  • Hauraki Inflatable Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship.
  • Hurricane Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship.
  • Hauraki Fleece Fender Covers - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship.
  • Hauraki Knitted Polyester Covers - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship.
  • Hauraki Neoprene Fender Covers - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship excluding fading.
  • All Accessories – 1 year manufacturers’ warranty.

Customers should take care when opening packages as Hauraki Fenders accepts no responsibility, and does not warrant its products, for knife cuts or similar damage. 

Deflated products should be stored so as to not induce acute creases in the PVC materials, as this may lead to premature failure of the PVC in that area and is not covered under warranty.

Any damage sustained to the product through commercial use, improper use, over loading, or normal wear and tear will not be covered under warranty. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to return faulty product to Hauraki Fenders, 21 Rangi Ave, Schnapper Rock, Auckland 0632, New Zealand for any warranty claim.  Any freight charges for warranty claims or supply of replacement product are the responsibility of the customer.

Hauraki Fenders accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to vessels, property or injuries sustained relating to the use of its products or services.  

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it (as new), unused, and in its original packaging.  You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  Custom made / non stock products are not eligible to be returned.

To request a return, you can contact us at info@haurakifenders.com  It is your responsibility to return the item/s to Hauraki Fenders, 21 Rangi Ave, Schnapper Rock, Auckland 0632, New Zealand.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if an item/s is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method excluding the total freight cost.  Because our products are shipped from New Zealand, a portion of the product sale price covers some of the freight cost (in conjunction with the order freight charge).  Any refunds or exchanges will not include the total freight cost (i.e. the order freight charge + the freight portion of the product sale price).  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
